Hi there đđť I’m Leo
I've been playing flute for about 10 years. I love it so much that I want to teach it! I have gathered an abundance of knowledge and experience, and now wish to share this wisdom with you.

Bio
Leo Viglietti is a multi-faceted flutist of the 21st century. With a 16+ year background in classical music, he has a thorough training in orchestral playing, concert band, chamber music, and solo performance (see résumé below for more detail). On the other hand, he has performed/recorded with rappers, producers, and performing artists on original compositions and songs. Leo is also fairly fluent in Logic Pro X and encourages flutists to explore anything their heart desires, no matter where it may lead them. "The flute is simply a tool for your heart, mind, and soul to shine through".
Leo has studied with many renowned flutists (see below) as well as at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and Berklee College of Music. He has played around the world and draws upon a plethora of musical experiences to share valuable wisdom, skill, and knowledge with his students.
Whether you are preparing for a college audition, learning a piece for Solo & Ensemble, or simply feeling a calling to play the flute, Leo is happy to work with you on your flute-playing journey!

My
Teaching
Philosophy
âI believe in guiding, not demanding. I have strong opinions, but my word is not law. I always encourage questions and for students to voice their thoughts and feelings. The best learning feels like exploration and adventure! Let's explore how you want your tone to sound, how far we can expand your dynamic range, how relaxed your finger-technique can be, and how efficiently you can tongue or even triple-tongue! There is a vast universe to explore through flute, and an endless universe to explore through music.
